TORRANCE, Calif., March 16, 1998 - Toyota Marine Sports is making a splash in cyberspace
today with the introduction of its new World Wide Web site: http://www.marine.toyota.com.
The Web site includes information on Toyota Marine Sports' new 1999 model
year, water ski boat, which goes on sale this August. Visitors to the site
also can view 3-D, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings of the boat from
three different angles.
The site is divided into five sections:
- Product: This section includes photographs and product information
for the first two boat models, the closed-bow Epic X21 and the open-bow
Epic X22, and specifications for Toyota's VT300i V8 engine.
- News: As Toyota Marine Sports launches into the marine industry, the
News area carries the latest updates and news releases.
- Design: CAD drawings of the open-bow boat, the Epic X22, can be viewed
using a mouse to pan out and zoom in on the image.
- Home: This section offers an introduction to Toyota Marine Sports operations
and provides information for contacting Toyota Marine Sports
- Feedback: Visitors to the site can provide feedback and sign up to
receive future product information.
