Marina Design

Several of you maintain an "on water test site" or deal with Marinas. There is an excellent Marina design book which few in the industry are aware of.

"Planning and Design Guidelines for Small Craft Harbors" Published by the American Society of Civil Engineers. ASCE Manuals and Reports on Engineering Practice #50. It was prepared by the "Task Force on Marinas 2000" and a Revised edition is available. The Oklahoma State University Library call # is 624.02 A512m no.50 1994.

This fine resource provides almost 300 pages of information on the design of small craft harbors and marinas. It also discussed the economics and financial aspects of operating a marina.
