John Russell Named President of US Marine |
Press Release 03:48 p.m Jul 02, 1998 EasternLAKE FOREST, Ill., July 2 -- Brunswick Corporation announced today that John Russell has been named president of its US Marine Division. Based in Arlington, Wash., US Marine is a leading marketer and manufacturer of pleasure boats including such well-known brands as Bayliner, Maxum, Trophy and Robalo.
Russell joined Brunswick in 1994 and served for three years as Executive Vice President -- Strategy and Finance for Mercury Marine before becoming president of Brunswick Billiards earlier this year. He replaces Roger Patterson who is joining the Brunswick corporate staff as Vice President -- Marine Asset Management with responsibility for developing operating synergies among the company's marine organizations.
